Well, I have a lecture til 12 in the parkinson building (Icelandic language! Aaaargh! Why!!!), so I wouldn't want to interrupt you opening the meeting....
But if you can bear that happening, drop me a private email and we could arrange something I'm sure....of course, I should be old enough and ugly enough to handle this myself, but....

the capital letters prob dont help lol but i cant be f**ked to type it again lol
Hehehehe...it's not you I'm scared of (should I be?) just walking into a room full of people I don't know....
Plus I recall the appalling time mature students were given by some LGB's (pre-T.....actually I first went to one of these shindigs when it was just 'G') that I've worked with in the past....not by me, I hasten to add. But being, ahem, mature (guess my age and win a prize!)...being at Uni at all is a bit bewildering....
People come along at all times of the 2 hour slot so don't worry about walking in. The only question you'll get asked is if you'd like tea/ herbal tea or coffee. I'm free today if you wana meet before coffee hour.

Can't today, just grabbing a few minutes online before a lecture at 1....hoping to get in tomorrow...
Hey, I was so scared before my first coffee hour too. I, quietly, knocked on the door and opened it slightly and, thank god, david ran over to me and ushered me in, sat me down and got me a drink. He was lovely. Everyone is really. Oh, and it's not really a meeting in the formal sense. It's just sitting down having a cuppa really.
It's cool and very non-scary!
