As you may or may not be aware, Feb 14th is V-Day. As part of a global campaign to end violence against women and girls, LUU is once again hosting The Vagina Monologues in The Riley Smith Hall, 7.30pm Mon 12th- Weds 14th.
Tickets are £5 NUS (£6 non- NUS) and all proceeds will go to STAR (Surviving Trauma After Rape), a local non-profit organisation which offers support and counselling to male and female victims of rape and sexual assualt.
It would be really great to see lots of you there, and to get people talking about vaginas! We're selling tickets in the union all week (along with cakes and badges). Don't miss the opportunity to see this fantastic show.
