Hey would just like to know in light of recent revelations by the press about HIV figures, what are you as mens officer going to do about promoting good sexual health?
I'm going to provide sexual health information in next year's Freshers' packs and make leaflets available in my coffee hours. I plan to also try to raise awarness during awarness week. In general I'm open to people asking me questions about HIV and sexual health in general. I'm researching the subject myself at the moment in order to be able to give people advice about the issue. Hope this helps.
I'm pretty sure that the mens officer will endeavour to be at the forefront of sexual health promotion in the LGBT. With specific relation to your query on the increase of HIV diagnosis, it would be an idea if the mens officer could educate individuals on how the virus is passed on and how people can modify their sexual practices to ensure the safety of themselves and their partners.
