For those of you who haven't been before Violator is an alternative night in Leeds' oldest gay bar, the New Penny (on Call Lane) - we play stuff like Le Tigre, Peaches, MIA, the Knife as well as Kylie and Madonna and a whole host more...
It's every Tuesday from 9-2am and it's free in, and this week if you show your LGBT card on the door you can claim a free "Funky Monkey" shot at the bar!
This week we are also lucky enough to have a live set from Leeds queer superstars Jean Genet, about to embark on a European tour with Lesbians on Ecstasy. Trust me, they are AMAZING. Gay Times described them as "Hilarious Lo-Fi Cabaret", which I would say is a pretty good description.
