I was thinking about joining the society but don't actually know anyyone in it (and it's half way through the year really!). Was wondering what the best way to do it would be and meet new people?
Not a committee member but i'll answer... Go to coffee morning 12-2 every weekday in the Student Union(upstairs in Arc) during term time! always people there and it's a good way to get to know people and you'll be able to join there too!
Heya anon. well as dibble saids we always have our coffee hour from 12-2 weekdays upstairs in the union. If the idea of wandering up there is a bit daunting (which is seriously was for me :D) then feel totally free to private message either myself or another member of the committee who'll be happy to meet up with ya beforehand so is less scary (altho we're all lovely really)
