Here's a dumb situation for you.. At the last minute my family decided it was feasible for me to fly over to austria where they currently are till sunday as my brother is there doing chalet/ski work for his gap year so they went to visit. So just this week my travel and everything was arranged... So off i set at 6 this morning, not in my most energetic state.. Got a taxi to liverpool st station, followed by the stanstead express to stanstead airport...All was going well..When i got to the check in desk and gave them my passport, they pointed out that it was out of date.. Boy did i feel stupid.

You see one has not been travelling for about four years one has not, and even if the trip hadn't been a last minute rush, it just did not occur to me (or my parents for that matter) to check it..I was just glad I'd located the damn thing after not having needed it for so long and having left the house on time etc.. So I merrily had to not go and journeyed back to london this day.. Not my best performance. And so i would like u all to shed a tear and play your violins as I am all alone for Christmas.. John K suggested I go to m+s and get a turkey dinner!... I award my family the dunce prize.. It's such a typical thing to happen...Remind me to pay attention to my passport in future.. Personally I think it ran out on purpose as punishment for my not having used it in so long... Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday and will have a fab xmas/new year.xx
