Bit late for starting this topic, but having seen all the videos over the course of this weekend I just wondered which version of the Band Aid song everyone thought was best?.. I like the first one, but I actually like the style and vocal performances (ooerrrr) on the second one i.e. Band Aid II..It's all very eighties!.. I stand by my decision as well that the most recent one is rubbish.. Bono trying to do his bit is just pitiful, and Dido and Chris Martin need to shout or turn up their microphones. So there.xx

The new one is good because it features JAmes from Busted. Enough said. Then again, the older version has the likes of Phil Collins, Cliff Richard, Bros... yeah, the new one is definitely better.

id never heard the original til the new one came out (original is the b-track on the single). and honestly, probs cos heard it first, i like the new one better. but then, thats me, i have the most appaling taste in music :( yeh, i admit its a rip-off (and dizzee rascal should be shot [in the leg] for his awful solo).
