Can you use all types and thicknesses of condoms for gay sex? A few people have scared me into using only the extra strongest of condoms as they say everything else will tear, is this true? I've hardly felt anything when I've worn an extra strong one, but used a thin one once, it didn't tear and it felt much better. Is this risky? Are anyones other than extra strong very likely to tear?
The short answer is, yes you can use any thickness of condom for gay sex. This is taken directly from the Terrance Higgins website:
"The thinner the condom, the more sensation. For more reassurance some people prefer thicker condoms (sometimes called extra strong or ultra strong). These were once recommended for anal sex but we now know that regular (thinner) condoms are just as safe."
