Everyday's a school day! Leeds Student Medical Practice (house of horrors to its friends) informed me today that if you are an "at risk individual" i.e. Gay, then you can get free Hep B jabs. As Hep B is one of the most prevelant STD's in the gay community it may be worth getting it done. It is a series of three jabs that will innoculate you for about 5 years i think!
They are of course confidential regarding your sexual status and it won't be held against you in the future, unless a really evil fascist government takes over or the world becomes swamped by homophobic robots that gain super intelligence and go on a hell bent mission of wiping out homosexual men.....
its 3 jabs one month apart then a blood test to see if you have gained an immunity then a boaster 1 year later. Had to have them for my course so me covered also MMR jabs are being done beggining of feb at Uni well worth the effort as there is a lot of mumps going around and it meses up with your testicles
