Kellie Telesford : Murderer somehow cleared of near-obvious guilt?

Here's the BBC on the matter:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7561957.stm

And here's a quote from an entry in a blog called sexual ambiguities which sums up my sentiments:

Shanniel Hyatt was found not guilty of killing Kellie Telesford, a trans woman of colour in South London last year.

His successful defense which "proved" he didn't kill Kellie Telesford was:

1. We had consentual kinky sex. And she might have died from that.
2. Except she was alive when I left her and robbed her.
3. Also, she might have done it to herself,
4. And then covered herself with a blanket.
4. Also, I had kinky sex with her but didn't discover she was trans til after she was dead and the police told me (those "deceiving" trans women.)

You see, trans women have MAGIC POWERS. We can kill ourselves with scarves with partial DNA matches of the suspect. Who was placed at the scene by CCTV and stole her phone and stuff. But, like, totally didn't strangle her, even though the doctor said there was no evidence of kinky sex gone wrong.

Look at our Patriarchal privilege, how the law protects us

I don't really know what to say about that. I wish there were more access to information about the matter - although, if this is a fix, it's hardly surprising that there isn't.

Joanna Greenberg, defending, said [...]"While we are referring to her as a female out of courtesy because that is how she wanted to be known. She was nevertheless a male with a man's strength and you would have thought that she, as a victim, would have fought her attacker but there was no signs."

I mean ... because anyone attacked by a prejudiced f*ckface isn't going to be at all threatened or terrified or hurt by yet more misguided disgust, are they? Not if they're a 'male with a man's strength'. GOD.

And if they're going to be all gender-prescriptive, then fine - isn't there a chance Kellie was taking oestrogen, and therefore not that 'male'?

ANGER

Don't see the point in having hatecrime laws if judges disregard them. In fact most judges in this country need a good slap n talking 2.

I am the one who has posted comments on many sites regarding Kellie Telesford whos name should be spelt Kelly. Quite a lot of my comments have been taken down as many publications do not like the truth, particularly that Poultry Rag the Pink News which should be supporting the LGBT community even if it gets egg on its face. I have been sticking my neck out for Kelly for I am all that she has to defend her. Many disbelievers would think that I was mad but unfortunately for them I am not. I have a Psychic ability which is still developing and thanks to Kellys immense power I am able to interact with her,it is a great honour . I am possibly the only one who is aware of Kellys last moments other than her murderer and I see in absolute clarity the magnitude of the injustice metered out to her. My comments are still displayed on Wikio Kellie Telesford News,Susans Transgender Forums,Queerty,Angels and Somebody got Murdered and perhaps some others,on these you will see how this all came about. Just to give you food for thought why would you think that I would travel four times to Leander Road and nine times to the Old Bailey from Nottingham via coach, tube ,rail and taxi all on individual days at my own expense if I were not driven by forces greater than of this world. And another thing that will rock many religious bigots is that Kelly was known before she was born and an elaborate safety net was laid out for her.

Thats lovely, you did sound sane until you stated you were psychic and interacted with her despite her living all the way in London & u in Nottingham. It takes a sick f uck to develop such a fanatical obsession with one tragedy & go around peddling this sort of crap, u didn't by any chance run the Soham tours, did you?

Just to give you food for thought, you can get all the help you need at Millbrook MHU.

"Rodney A Ballard"'s argument clearly doesn't stand up. They drove to nottingham, but it doesn't mean what they believe is right. Just how, simply because someone flies a plane half way round the world to drops bombs on people, it doesn't mean what THEY believe is right. Doing something "dramatic" because of a belief doesn't make it any more legitimate.

So I do get your point. However plenty of things I believe are, or would previously have been, considered completely nuts by a lot of people. It's only with the withholding of anger by those people (I don't mean prettending to agree), that a certain degree of change has been made... and also it's pretty instrumental to me just generally being able to get on with people in my life, and being able to discuss my beliefs.

As very disturbing as someone's beliefs might be, I don't think it's fair to use aggressive language towards them, and if anything it's going to discourage them from thinking about mental health treatment. Which is a bad thing.

Rodney A Ballard: Thank you for your comments,I do appreciate your concern for me. However it seems that my words have fallen upon barren ground. You really must study the subject of Psychic awareness and not via the internet but from learned texts and perhaps from meeting a good Medium which you would find locally by contacting the S.N.U. Essex .CM24-8UD. You have probably heard of Psychics helping in investigations,it does happen. But lets not get sidetracked, we`ll return to our concern over the inverse outcome of T008-7007 in court 1 on the 14th of August. [deleted text]

Jacob: No matter what your beliefs are Rodney... this thread is about the legal bias and transphobia... your evidence would probably not be accepted in any british legal case as legitimate evidence no matter how legitimate you may think it is, so i don't think its' rejection in any way differentiates this case from any other, whereas the sexual assumption and bias, which are strongly indicated, definitely have. So seeing as it's not relevant I think it best to remove an account of that night that lots of our visitors and users may/do find very upsetting.
