Is anybody else interested in coming to some of the internation concert season at the town hall in the coming weeks? They have already started running but there are some coming up that I would really like to see - particularly rBeethoven's 5th, Beethoven's Emporer Piano Concerto,Mahler, and Stravinsky's Firebird.
There is also a charity concert on the 20th Feb for the Tsunami appeal where they are doing Verdi's Requiem.
Tickets start at around £8 but there is a student discount available.
A couple of people have said they might come along, is anybody else interested in coming? let me know and I will book some tickets.
I'd really like to see the one on the 5th cos they're doing the Organ Symphony (I know that's not to everyone's tastes), and I'll definitely go to the one on the 20th, and you may as well put me down for the ones that you want to go to as well!

I feel i need a bit of culture in my life to counter-act the effects that the pop room is having on me at Homo (too much 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is bad for any one). So count me in.
I dont mind which one we go to, so tell me when and where Adam and i'll be there.
Ok for people who want some classical music thrust at them I recommend 16th April, as they're doing Beethoven's 5th Symphony and Rossini's William Tell OVerture amongst others, just because their pieces that everybody should at least recognise. The other ones aren't necessarily going to be of as much interest I don't think.
