The LGBT Societies Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on THURSDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2005 at 7.30pm in Meeting Room 3 of the ARC (upstairs in the union).
Every member of the society is invited to attend.
At the meeting each officer reports back on the committee’s work throughout the past year, constitutional amendments are made (when necessary) and elections for the new committee take place.
So if you want to get involved with the organisation or running of the society the stand for a position!!
The following positions are available at the AGM
Core Positions:
• President (Chair) • Secretary • Treasurer

If you don’t want to run for a committee position PLEASE still come to the AGM and vote. Your vote is extremely important – it gives you the power to change and make better the society as you see fit.
Refreshments will be provided at the close of business and we will then head down to ‘Homo’ at Mission.
If you have any questions, please come and see the committee or email us at luu.lgbt@leeds.ac.uk
