To celebrate Queer Week the LGBT's very own alternative Queer Club night is making a special appearance at Bar Phono on Tuesday 15th March!
With their leg-opening musical talents, DJ, Tash, Ally, johnK and misterPete will be spinning everything from Metal to Pop, Indie to Rock and whatever else might be inbetween!
There will be something for everybody, so come down and have fun!

Hey JK, that reminds me of a short lesson that Lewis gave about 'Lower camel case', eg as in 'misterPete'. Great fun.
DJing again will be fab, for diskoRenegade last night I meticulously planned out an entire set with all my cool music like LCD Sounsystem, Miss Kittin, !!!, The Dysfunctionals, etc then completely ignored it on the night and played The Eurythmics and a Kelis remix instead. I've come to the conclusion that setlists just aren't me.
I had a 'sound' that I wanted, but I didn't really have a fixed setlist. Plus, tried to look at what people were responding to so played more stuff as appropriate.
Curious should be great on TUesday!

Thanku! Yeah, i sort-of did a similar thing. Didn't help that I left some of my core CDs at home and there were no headphones, but never mind. Yeah, next Renegade 8th April baby

Between 10pm and 10.30pm me and Ally will be playing a short but brilliant set with some more chilled out stuff, including Patti Smith, The Rolling Stones, The Cure, Kate Bush, Diana Ross and lots of other random stuff!

Can I offer my apologies -- I think I put my name down for the stall tomorrow afternoon, but I'm feeling quite poorly and don't think I can make it in. There are 3/4 other people on the stall at the same time, though.

Sorry Pete, thing is because there is 2 of us, we have like 2 lots of music that we want to platy. now everyone gets an hour. Seems fair to me.

I like 'What Would Morrissey Say' myself, but the more exposure Help She Can't Swim get, the better!
My thread of things I might fancy would go on, and on, and on. Though I would quite like almost anything by Pulp, some Le Tigre or perhaps 'Crystal Clear' by the Fiery Furnaces.
I have Knit 1 Pearl 1 too now. Will look for that one.
Gonna have a jumpy around riot grrl part to the set - Bikini Kill, The Distillers, Le T, maybe Sleater Kinney, PJ Harvey, Help She..., The Muffs. They all worked rather nicely on Friday I think so.....
Am of course playing Pulp - 'Do You Remember the First Time' (one of my fave songs ever), Le Tigre - either My My Metrocard, TKO, Deceptacon or On The Verge.
Not sure.
Haven't got the Fiery Furnaces, but if Adam or you want to bring a cd along, then do.... :)
