I have the 'flu and am shivery and achey with no voice and cannot sleep. Nothing beats having the flu when you're a chronic insomniac.

The showers in Tetley Hall have been broken for a week now. I had to wash my hair in the sink. This afternoon, we had a power cut. Grr. Our hall is kicking us out over Easter to hold conferences, and neither of my parents will let me stay with them because they don't like their openly not-straight daughter, and my friend in Lincolnshire can't put me up either. I was going to stay with my girlfriend in sunny America, but considering she dumped me that is also not an option. Hooray for potential homelessness. Hooray for the essay I don't understand and the computing assigment in the programming language I don't know due in early next week... methinks I'll be getting an extension.

The girls on my corridor have all gone home for the weekend, and I'm all lonely. Nobody's even on MSN or the forum, because you are all having lives or tucked up in bed. I would do anything for a bowl of hot soup and a hug right now.

Sorry for being pathetic. I hope everyone else is having a better Saturday night.
