Did anyone watch the new Doctor Who then!? It was better than i thought but still pretty bad. I guess i just need to get used to the cheesiness. Billie Piper was hilarious :D
Things i especially loved: Rose's Pikey Mum The London Eye being the evil alien transmitter Searching for information on the Doctor on the internet
Hooray for Doctors who are Northern :D
I was expecting the Trocadero to be the evil alien headquarters :(
i'm going to London next week. I can't wait to go on the Doctor Who tour of London.
Well, we can all aspire to look goofy and fatuous like her then. I saw Chris Evans at Waterloo East the other day. Drama! He didn't recognise me at all, so I ignored him. He's fat and blonde now.
Billie isn't bad-looking but to be honest I thought she was actually a v. good actor, she acted Eccleston off the screen. (I once heard his look described as a slightly hunky yet mad Geography Teacher. Yeah I probably would.) If I were him I'd be embarrassed at Billie "Because We Want To" Piper's superior acting talent, especially with him being widely regarded as some sort of national treasure, as we tend to label any decent actor that's been around for a bit.
I actually really loved Doctor Who, never saw any of the earlier series, and my sister thought that the last Doctor Who was Rowan Atkinson (I had to explain that it was a Comic Relief take-off one year.) Bless.
In summary: how believable did you expect - it's Doctor Who! Best bit for me was the boyfriend turning plastic. Anyone noticed that after he was human again he still looked kinda plastic?
Is it always wrong to fancy Christopher Eccleston a bit?
i realised I am turning into my Mum when we both confessed that we fancy Alistair Appleton whilst watching him on House Doctor (YES on a Friday night. YES I have no friends....)
