What the hell are Babyshambles and Do Me Bad Things doing alongside all the gay cheese?!
Sadly, I'll be going to Truck Festival on that weekend, so I'll have to give it a miss. It's been my lifetime ambition (well, since the age of 11) to throw a bottle of lukewarm piss at Peter Andre.

Well their mission statement is that it is a non-pofit making event, with money going to charity including gay pride, who hosted last year a rally in Trafalgar square, and to Stonewall, who is ensuring the civil partnership law is law, so same sex couples have rights, and money went to other charities.
I think the line up is ****ing withed, also don't forget thats just the main stage, they've got Dj, house rock etc stages/tents.
It for bloody equailty for gay people, celebrateds with a party as (this is what we do best)
dun understand the last word in ya post... its a big word n am special!
Was in a ratty mood last nite n had jus got in from work, so jus ignore that post
i'd love 2 go but u gotta pay 4 the ticket, pay 4 the train stuff, then theres payin 4 sumwhere 2 stay, travelling time etc, all adds up2 more money than i've got

Hmm.. I'm just not entirely ready to believe that faceparty are doing this for purely altruistic reasons. They are probably makeing a pretty healthy profit out of all of this.
Surely a DIY alternative event involving much arguing about the concept of pride on the forum is needed?

Half of the comments on the 'your say on Big Gay Out' page mention Faceparty.
keep up the work faceparty, you deserve all the credit for making thousands of people happy for the day!
And I can't see anywhere on the site that tells you the charities they donate to or that it's a not-for-profit event. Perhaps I'm being dense and can't find it on the site, but I wonder how much of the ticket price goes to the performers and to Faceparty...
We'll have 2 hold a queer party-thingy bob n claim its a pride event & pocket all the money 4 the society n assembly... one way of gettin fundin that the uni cant limit :oP

I've been to the Big Gay Out a few years ago..i won VIP tickets at a club so went along..it was alright, nothing special and the drinks were way 2EXPENSIVE! but its a good day out like any other :)
I think we should just leave it for what it is, as with everything, some people go and really enjoy it, and some people dont agree with it. Upto you what u think, we all probably htink different in the end.
