Hey guys, On the 13th and 14th August there are some reputed (as in "not porn") queer movies showing at the Hyde Park Picture house. Might be worth a look if anyone else is interested in going? FRESH FRUIT 13th August 2.45pm 78 mins, cert tbc This succulent set of shorts explores first experiences - Oranges sees a shy young Australian boy sharing an afternoon of nervous exploration with an older, more confident friend, and in What Grown-Ups Know a teenage lad explores his sexuality with a trailer-park manager whilst his mad, messed-up mum moves him from site to site.
SUMMER STORM [SUMMERSTROM]13th August 4.30pm Germany 2004, 98 mins, cert 18 Dir. Marco Kreuzpaintner Tobi and Achim are best buddies on a rowing team. Summer comes along and they set off to the countryside to take part in a national competition. Sashaying onto the scene comes a buff group of gay boys in a queer rowing team - and these lads ain’t shy about coming forward. Over time, Tobi begins to feel that he has more in common with them than his old friends. The stage is set for hidden desires and romance to blossom.

Award-winning Hi Maya sees a chance meeting in a hair salon rekindling desire for two spirited grannies. Young love, The Undertones and detention lead a girl right where she’s meant to be in Olive. Finally, here comes the bride in Wedding Daydream…

When Polish refugee Jolanta begs Dora to hide her in her apartment, Dora agrees and soon finds herself falling for her neighbour’s sexy curves and feminine guile.
They all sound like porn to me. They probably aren't 18 Cert because of ther violent content. Still, I live 20s away from the picture house now and I have nothing better to do with my time.
