10 gayest films?? Adam and I came up with following....

we were trying to decide the top 10 for a gay movie night when everyone is back in leeds.... any other suggestions??

I would like it to be on record that I hate Moulin Rouge. I am currently listening to the 'you're too big to fit in here' song from the sweetest thing, and wondering if i should share it with my neighbours...

Is this top ten sh!t films or top ten gay films?

If it is, infact *GAY* films (As in films about gay people and not films that are vacuous and camp) then surely:

Beautiful Thing? Gods and Monsters? Hedwig? Torch Song Trilogy? Bound? Better Than Chocolate? The Hours? But I'm A Cheerleader? should be there!?!

Get Real is my favourite actual gay film, but there is nothing wrong with vacous campness (except moulin rouge, for which Baz Lurman should be hung drawn and quartered) in the right place!

Yeah, but gay films don't necessarily have to be camp!

I remember watching Monster when I was flying to San Francisco... loved how it helped you understand the motivations behind the murdered, and Charlize Theron definitely deserved her Oscar.
