being my usual awkward self, i can't do mondays (i have an archaeology seminar from 7 til 9pm) and as i'm the women's officer, i ought to be able to be there to get to know everyone a bit better!
does anyone have any major objections to having the meal on wednesday 26th october instead? if not, i'll change it on the office door and get rich to put it in the email on sunday.
venue suggestions appreciated. due to the wonderfully large number of people that there were last time, big restaurants are probably a good idea
i'm not the world's biggest fan of chinese food, so would prefer indian or italian (spice or pizza mania, anyone?) but will go with the flow
Pizza Mania wasn't that bad. I would have much preferred to go to a restaurant, but all you can eat salad, pasta, pizza and ice cream for £6 can't be bad! If you do go to Pizza Mania, you might want to let them know your coming beforehand so they can have food/tables ready for your arrival!
Have fun girls!

Right, definitely coming along to this one. It's my first event, so I'm kind of nervous -although I'm sure you're all lovely people. I'l try to meet you at the steps, but I've got a Tesco delivery coming that might be late (in the grand tradition of delivery men) so I might have tojoin in outside the restaurant.
Are you easy to spot? I don't know anyone, so unless you have big banners saying "We Are The Lesbian Pizza Excursion" I'm afraid I might miss you. Could you keep an eye out for me? I've compiled a little sketch to help with identification:
I'll probably be looking a little lost and cold. If it's raining, I'll have an umbrella with leaves on. Please scoop me up and point me in the right direction ^_^
i'm the short one, and i will be wearing a lilac fleece with hair in a ponytail. will definitely look out for you, my mobile number's above, call or text if you're totally lost. we will be at parky steps til about 7.20, as is the tradition to scoop up latecomers. see you there!
oh, and we're definitely going to pizzamania - they know we're coming. cheaper than pizza hut!
