My house mates and i have been discussing the beautiful game and me not likeing the thing seems to have solidified there idea that us gays don't like the sport so i ask does anyone here actually like football (for more than the men)
I'm afraid that I've had to answer yes to this one!
Although I can't stand what happens off the pitch, (grotesquely inflated salaries, soft-core interviews, (where's Paxman when you need him?), Chelsea's crazy domination, etc, etc), I do love what goes on the pitch, unless my team, Newcastle United lose. In which case I hate football. Which, sadly is happening most of the time nowadays!
I can see why people find cricket a turn off though... Steven. xx

WOOOOOO rovers! i used to have a seaoson ticket, but work got in the way, i loved it!
I used to watch football, (Leeds Utd supporter) but its just gettin crapper, lol. Rugby League is nice, Castleford Tigers team is relatavly young, (whats not to like about a bunch of young fit men in tight shorts running around being masculine....)
Spireites! (Chesterfield) So they r a **** team n the ground is falling down, but gotta love them! Home team n all that. Also support Sheff Utd n Oldham Athletic abit... reasons for Oldham is that my mate is married 2 one of the players and he's sound, Sheff Utd, well this mate back home that I went to school with since been about 5 has made it on2 Sheff Utd. He's on loan 2 Chezzy at moment tho so its all good.

I didn't watch it I'm afraid no, I had to listen to it on the radio! Because of sky f*cking everything up and putting the match on at 1.30, I thought it kicked off at 3, when I was going to go the pub and watch it. Too late now though! It was a good game though, the way derbys should be, especially tyne and wear derbys! What disturbed me was when my geordie housemate came back from newcastle last night she told me that her dad hated the mackems, but wanted them to beat us so we'd sack Souness! That's a pretty big sacrifice to make...
