I announced in coffee hour today my resignation from the lgbt society committee and stood down for my project-leader position in Nic's LGBT Assembly. I would like to thank the committee for a wonderful time and say how much i love you all! The reason i am standing down regards my family. Basically i can't handle my degree, them, my job and some other things all at the same time. LGBT Soc, as much as i love it, has to go under "other things" and i know i cant do the position justice anymore. Fortunately i was in a job-share, with the incredibly wonderful Joe and i know he'll do the job fine all alone
For those who know the score, thanks very much, for those who haven't had an eerie glimpse into my homelife, trust me on this one! WIll see you all soon, as one of those normal (as possible) members!
I'm sorry to hear this, Dave, but I know (although not from experience) what you've been going through for the last few months, so I don't blame you for your decision. Sometimes life proves too overwhelming. Take care, and hope to see you soon! xx

Sorry to hear that you've had to drop the LGBT, but I admire you for acknowledging that it's simply too much to take on. It can't've been an easy decision to make, as I know how important the society and your men's office duties were to you.
Take care, and our kettle is always available for a cup of tea if you need it.
