Hey folks

Just thought I would let you know about a new 'whats your favourite book' type thing, kind of like the Big Read done by the BBC a couple of years ago except this time they want to find out you favourite gay / lesbian/ trans book. The website www.biggayread.com gives you all the info and lets you vote. Voting and forums can be found on the website and we could have our own discussion if anybody actually has any time to read non-uni stuff . Many libraries across the country are supporting it and doing big promotions, however I haven't managed to find anything about it from Leeds City Libraries (Surprise, Surprise) Voting closes on the 28th Feb and the winner will be announced during the Queer up North festival.

Happy Reading!

Only read about 5 of those books and drudging my way through The Line of Beauty. But really enjoyed Trumpet by Jackie Kay, so voted for that :)

Another trumpet guy here. It's noticeable John and I did the same module, isn't it. :oP

Although I'd say Trumpet is more of a trans book, not so much a gay book. But that's me being facetious.
