Having a **** day already, YAY! All this is thanks 2 that pit of doom boredom n dickheads, otherwise known as Wetherspoons. Anyway I'm not sure wot 2 bout the whole situation so am asking 4 opinions on this...

Basically, theres alot of stuff winding me up like them sayin they r short staffed during daytime but not doing owt 2 get any staff in - the otherday I wer in at 7am & had 2 do a full delivery on my own, set the bar up, open up and then serve drinks, take out food, clear plates, check the toilets, change barrels, glass collect n wash the glasses all by myself until 11 when another member of staff came in, the fact that they'll bugger my sleeping pattern up on a weekly basis by putting me on opening shifts one day n a close shift the next or putting me on back 2 back 12 hour shifts, they end up varying my work hours from 43-48 hours a week, and on my application form I said I couldn't work monday nights, I told them at the interview, mentioned it numerous times & bought it up at the last staff meeting, so they still put me on monday nights. Thats a mild annoyance compared 2 2day tho...

Once again the management proved that they are twats. I've had problems with them changin my rota at last minute n not telling me b4 I turned up 4 the shift I wer meant 2b doing, but 2day takes the complete n utter piss... I wer told I were on a 7am-4pm 2day so I made the effort 2 get up at 5.30 get ready n freeze my arse off, bus then decided 2 turn up late n break down so I had 2 get off that n walk most of the way in2 work, got there 4 7 frozen solid & got told 2 set bar up, get bins in, help with a delivery (getting stuff in & puttin it away) so I did all that, then the supervisor started writing up the shift list & noticed that my hours had been changed 2 a 6pm-2.30am & I'd not been told (thanks very ****ing much).

I got sent home cos they decided that they didn't need me doing a 7-4 & want me in at 6, am awake now & have been up n awake since 6 so I can't get back 2 sleep, so it looks like am awake til I get in from work bout 3am. This is just made worse by the fact that they've put a staff meeting on at 10am 2moro n all staff have to attend, so am gonna get hardly any sleep again & they expect me 2 waste 2 hours between the end of the meeting and start of an 11hour shift (2-close), which they've very nicely decided 2 put me on. As you've probably guessed am completely ****ing livid.

Dunno the whole jobs grating on me & they are just taking the piss by not giving me the one bit of time i need free a week off, putting me on dodgy shift patterns (so theres no routine), constantly ****ing up my hours by changing them last minute n not telling me, expecting me 2 do the work of 3ppl cos they are short staffed, then have the cheek 2 go on at me 4 not been all smiley bouncy n happy 2b working there, I HATE it there n 2moro's not gonna nice at all. Thing is the they don't listen 2ya when u speak 2 them nicely about it, so question is do I try the nice approach again n hope 4 best or just completely let rip? Seems its unlikely that they'll get rid of sum1 who's full time n can work day shifts.
