I am a 3rd year Linguistics & Phonetics student doing my dissertation on the relation between sexual orientation and language.
I'm looking for four female participants who speak English as their first language and are self identified as lesbian.
I'll undertake the study as soon as possible...hopefully in the next week.
It'll take no longer than 30 minutes and simply involves reading out a short passage of text that I'll record.
It's vital to the investigation that I study participants with the same or similar accents. I'm hoping to decide which accent to work with based on the replies I receive.
So if you think you could help, (even though I may not ask you to participate further), please please please could you either reply on here or email me at LNP3AFK@LEEDS.AC.UK specifying;
your name, age, whereabouts you originate from in the UK and how you would class your accent.

Love it!
I'd love to help you out, Toni, but I don't identify as lesbian. :)
