Being net vetrans, I'm sure you're all famiilar with 7 Seconds of Love and thier sensational site www.rathergood.com. If not, I'm telling you now.
Said muscians featured heavily on my first-year sound track and the joy must be shared. I particularly recommend Hedgehogs, We like the Moon and Sumo Florist.
Oh, and speaking of really rather good things; just been to see Confetti. It took a squadron of three to drag me there (it belacking ANY choreographed fight scenes). However, to my tingly bejoyment it is furneshéd with a host of our favourite sit-com actors. Spaced, The Green Wing, Nighty Night, The Office & The Smoking Room!! Its documentary-savvy style parodies London media culture very successfully. It also features a long-term gay couple, without making the whole film about the gay, which can only be progressive.
It was improvised too wasn't it? I think there was a script outline for plot progression, but as far as I know, the rest was all done off the cuff.
I can't wait for X-Men III!!! Bring it on I say!
ooh, and I'm off to see Jerry Springer the Opera next week! Yah!
And! Has anyone seen that Bad Girls: The Musical is on at the West Yorkshire Playhouse? surely the gays should be arranging a society trip to see this?! Just for comed value! If not I am gonna go anyway, and people are welcome to join moi!
