Ooh and have you read the book?

I do like it though the narrative is very 'heavy'. But I find that of most contemporary male writers (Ian McEwan, Graham Swift, Yann Martell - all hard to read). The story is great. And I love both his take on the eighties but also the concept of asthetics itself and how it relates to being gay.

I've not watched it yet, as haven't had time. But am going to sit down tonight and watch it. Probably going to read some other hollinghurst books. But will need some time off his style before reading anymore. Whilst I like it I find it very 'heavy' and poetic.

Will give mois opinions on casting later on :)
