Hey everyone. Thanks for coming to the ball all those that did. It was amazing! I'm so happy with how it turned out and that you all made the effort; LGBTers look good!

Anywho, just a note to say I got the first two films developed on saturday (I ended up on 3!) and put onto a CD, so I've uploaded a few of the pictures onto the website now. For some reason the thumbnail pictures aren't displaying, and I'm a bit too tired to work out why now (been moving stuff and cleaning all day, and working at 9am tomorrow) but if you click on them you'll get to the pictures.

Oh, and sorry for all the linkage, but it was the best way I could think of doing it.

I'll do the rest as soon as possible.

I am going to put my photos on the web, got lots of good ones and a rather scary one, thought it looked like a ghost but then realised it was just that sally had moved as the photo was being taken, its not hard to spot. freaked me out when I first saw it, but I'd had my camera on night mode so the exposure was longer.


ok can't figure out how at the moment, but will do it later when its not too hot to think

I found a way of seeing them, even if it's a bit complicated. When you get to the Round the tables page, go to View in the browser, and select "Page Source". Then you'll get to see the invisible links to the pictures: example: "ball06table/1.jpg". Select and copy each one ommitting the quotation marks, and add them to the website's URL after the "lgb/" bit at the end, and, oh la la, the picture starts dowloading.

If you can't be bothered doing this, you'll have to wait till poor Emily has moved out of her house.

just a bit of hotlinking here, but the photos are there, the links are just a bit bad at the moment. They're nice in their traditional film-camera sort of quality! I love that, but never have the patience anymore...

Right guys, I've sorted out the thumnail pics. For some reason the automatic thumb thing didn't like my pictures, so I've had to specifiy height and width for them blah blah. Anyway, you can see the lil photos now.

By the way, if anyone else has pictures from the ball they want to go on the website, just email them to the society account luu.lgbt@leeds.ac.uk or my uni account ics5eaj@leeds.ac.uk and I'll get them up when I can. Cheers Scott, I'll have a look!

So far, so good!

You might want to make the thumbs/actual photos a bit smaller though (actually resize the photos) so the pages load a bit quicker. Just a suggestion mind!

I've uploaded some more photos now of people arriving if you want to have a nosey! Think I might have to split up the arrivals too, cos there's still about 15 more or somethin I haven't got through yet!

Yeah Rich, I was thinking resizing is probably the way to go on my way home just now! haha At the moment I'm just keen to get them up there so people can see em, but if certain people stop making me feel guilty for not going out, I'm sure I can get the resizing done sooner (you know who you are! )

I think everyone should try and spot where the anti-red eye machine has gone wrong and stuck green blobs on random areas.

That kept me entertained for a bit yesterday.
