I have just been to see Unite 93, the film about one of the planes involved in 9/11 and I would just like to say it was SHIT! Don't go see it, all you see is yellow dots on screens, poor acting, and weird hostesses fumbling with a trolley, and a classic line "But it was such a lovely day when we set off". I found it offensive that it was allowed to be released let alone dedicated to the people who actually died. They deserve better.

Totally. The attack seems to have been aggressively interpreted in dramatisations and documentaries show an overwhelming amount of militant propaganda. I felt the film 911 formed a disturbingly exclusive heroic ideal of the Christian male fire-fighter and Bush's speeches never properly address America as multi-cultural. They are reminiscent of WWII speeches - 'fires in the minds of men' and all. I do despair.
I completely agree, disgusted that it was even made! I lost friends in 9/11. And some relatives were injured. They live close by, and some worked in the Towers.
Even the trailer on telly made my blood boil. But big budget america wins again - they'll do anythign to make money. I for one will not be seeing that film.
Although it's some time ago, the reality of what happened is still far to near.
