Just thought I'd ask and see if anyone is going to Manc Pride. I'm hoping to come up for the Bank holiday weekend Friday 25th August - Monday 28th August.
Other than that hoping you are all having a nice summer.
i was hopin to maybe go on sat morning, see the parade etc, an stay on that night, there are trains back to leeds at all hours....1.,20 ish then 3.34........5.24.....6.42....7.42.... so if dnt wanna stay over, plenty of ways to get back, im thinkin this may be the way to go 4 me...

Poo that is Leeds fest weekend! I really wanted to go to Pride, but I've been looking forward to Leeds Fest for ages (and also spent lots of money on my ticket obviously!!)
Is the combination of gay and "alternative" relatively rare in our world? I mean, I seem to know quite a few people that are both, but most gayness seems to be cheese/dance etc (as we've discussed before). It just seems pretty stupid timing to have both at once. But then again, I guess both events will still pull a pretty big crowd regardless! haha Think I just felt like a whinge then.

It's august bank holiday and Manchester Pride has always been that weekend. Loads of other events I want to go are happening that weekend to, it's just the fact that it's a bank holiday.
