For those of you that may be interested there will be a committee meeting on Wednesday 4th at 7pm in meeting room 4 of the ARC. All are welcome to attend however, there are a few rules that have to be followed if you do want to come along...
i) speaking rights are only given to those in the committee, so in other words you'll only be an observer and can't contribute to any of the running of the society type conversation that'll be going on
ii) voting rights, for any decisions to be made, are only for committee members.

So, in all it would probably be quite boring, but those are the rules set down by the union in our constitution, but you're allowed to come along to watch!

If u need 2 unwind after that meeting, theres a gig 4 a ghana orphanage been held in the Faversham . Drum n Bass music all round (dont let that put u off) n its hosted by 2 of my flatmates from 1st year... also means theres gonna b quite a few ex-dockers there, always good 4 a reunion. Starts at 9!

Drum & Bass isn't shameful! I kinda got in2 it in my first year... in fact the times of the year I wer most disturbed n unable 2 sleep wer all the holidays from uni cos I wer that used 2 drum & bass b4 bed, was just sooooooo wrong when everyone went home n it wer quiet.

Yeah am going! My 'brothers' are hosting the night n Dj-ing, 1 of the 'sisters' will b there & then there's the extended 'family'... so its just gonna mkae it so much better. If u wanna come along please do! They r a seriously lovely bunch!
