My friend was recommending this to me yesterday (as he knows the people), then this popped in to the society inbox:
It's called Violator, and takes place every Tuesday at the New Penny on Call Lane, which is just near the Bridge, Queen's Court etc. We play a mix of pop, electro-indie, and 80's, it's free to get in, goes on from 9pm til 2am, and there are drinks offers on all night. Plus, as an incentive for LGBT members to come down and see what it's like, we're running an offer on the Tuesday 10th - if you show your LGBT membership card at the door you can claim a free shot at the bar!
The drinks offers are:
Fosters £2 a pint VS alcopops 3 for £5 Selected shots £1 each or 6 for £5
We've attached a flyer to this email, and you can find out more about the night - including a list of the sort of stuff we play - at our myspace page, http://www.myspace.com/violatordisco
Hope to see you down there!
Russell and Rich

Hmm the flyer doesn't seem to want to work right now, but if you click on the link it tells you pretty much everything you need to know combined with the email.
But yes, I think we should form a troupe to go!
