We are student representatives for GLADD (Gay & Lesbian Association for Doctors & Dentists) and are currently in the process of organising a GLADD student based meeting for February next year. We hope that this weekend event will be fun with the focus on socialising and making inter-university LGBT friends.
Is it possible that you could send an email out to any medic/dentist members that you may have and a) mention GLADD as an organisation that they may wish to join and b) ask if any of them would be interested in this weekend.
It should be cheap (as it is in part subsidised by GLADD) and is a good way to network.
