hello nicky!

welcome to the forum. the only way to get a photo of yourself on here is to link to one that's already on the internet.

the best way to do that is to go into uni, and create a folder in your own network storage space called 'WWW'. then put a photo in there. then you can link to it using the url:

http://www.personal.leeds.ac.uk/~YOURUSERNAME/NAMEOFPIC.jpg

so mine might be http://www.personal.leeds.ac.uk/~jhm9dep/dave.jpg

you can even create your own website on the uni's server

what have i done wrong?
by my network space, you did mean my files and stuff on the uni computers, right? does it matter if there's anything else in the www folder?

faceparty is this really dodgy lil site thing u put a personal profile on n get harrassed by 15yr olds or freaks in ur area. The grim rita agony aunt section is good tho

no, i'm not picking my nose. and drew keeps telling me it looks really posey, so i feel i have to explain. i was reading a book, resting my head in my hand, and looked up to see the camera. it may not look quite like me now because it was taken more than a year ago when i had much shorter hair (and possibly a tan? it was taken in portugal).
but if you're all going to be mean i'll change it......
