A new website will be up and running very soon thanks to one of our lovely members. This means that the website might be down for a couple of hours sometime next week whilst we get it all done, so if you save this forums link to your favourites then you'll still be able to chat away on it while we do the updating.

Okay, the website is up. I know there's a couple of images that aren't showing up, but i know why that is. Also, on the university computer it was uploaded on the correct fonts weren't loading, but it seems to be working fine on other machines. Any other technical problems, let me know.
As regards to content, there's still a couple things that need changing with regard to wording and some of the links in the links section. A full list of available books and dvds will also be put online soon.
Any other suggestions, feedback, problems, constructive criticism, lemme know...

heya. the new website is fab, well done for all the hard work! when i first got on it, i was like, is this the wrong website?! very modern with nice purple touches!! tho i do agree with the last post about the forum.
Looks fab, Richard. I doubt you'll need HTML help as it looks amazing, but if you do happen to need any (or want someone to lend a hand with updates in the event of laziness, which I again doubt will happen) feel free to shout my way. :)
(If you don't get a first for this, I'll go insane. It's really well done, both functionally and stylistically, and I don't give compliments out lightly.)
Agree with the forum too, though. It's useful to see what's going on in there just by loading the front page of the site.
alice, i'm sure the laziness will kick in sooner or later. most probably sooner.
with regards to having to link to the forum on the front page, i agree it's be convenient but can't help but feel it's distracts people away from the site too easily. if enough people want it on though, it can be done.

about the forum thing - it doesn't have to be on the front page of the website. how about just having the 6 or so most recent posts at the top of the ordinary forum page?

Doesn't work like that I am afraid Mike. We can put a link with the most recent topics on the main website, but if you go directly to this page (like I normally do) then you have just click on each sub-forum. I think a small run down of the most popular topics on the main page is more than likely the best idea, what does everyone else think?

how about if clicking on the forum link took you to an intermediate page with the most recent posts listed on it, with links to the main forum page from there?
also, is there any way to stop the ****ing forum blanking out all the ****ing swearwords? it's a bit ****ing patronising being ****ing censored like this!

I personally would prefer the 'recent topics on the front page' idea.
Also, about the swear words, you can try hitting 'Alt Gr' with the vowel of your chosen expletive, adding an accent which evades the system, eg shít, fúck, árse, etc. Or be inventive. eg 4RSE! WANK3R! sorry I get carried away. fággot that I am.

lol, that comes from john letting me play round with the forum settings last night! The forum is linked on the front page again like it used to be - (just temporarily though while i sort summit out! :p) so i had to make it the same colours as the site. Glad you like it x

I won't be in Dempsey's i dont think. At least i've never been in there before climax before. It's quite possible I'll be in that place that goes on till 4 tho (i can't remember it's name) after Climax has finished.

I was in dempseys b4 hand, caused mayhem as usual, was pretty wrecked again by time i got 2 climax n we dint make it 2 xes cos my sister got paraletic n gipped ALOT, had 2 ring me dad 2 come pick us up from sheff at half 3 otherwise i'd have gone 2 Xes (despite it been a crappy drug hole) Anyways jus an interestin point 2 note, the march climax is day after my birthday, am thinkin of tryin 2 get the lgbt 2 come 2 climax then make a right party of it n let them all meet my nutters
