Now, I know we said amsterdam. But I seriously think it would be more trouble and expense than its worth.
So my immediate next thought was BLACKPOOL!
Its a REALLY cheap weekend and not to hard to get to -
Train will be about ｣15 and the hotel will be ｣30 - ｣40 for a couple of nights (thats B&B by the way)
Then there is spending money - two nights out and a few rides on the pleasure beach/donkeys/rentboys.
Will prob end up costin, at the most, ｣100
I'll be making some enquiries. Hehe
PS. This one will be much easier to organise too, as we won't be going abroad, getting planes, needing insurance (which I would not ever recommend anyone to not get)

Insurance is actually relatively important, it's just way too expensive and if you don't take anything of value, can be a waste of money. Still, i suppose it's nice to have that peace of mind.... Blackpool sounds good btw
I say it just because I had ｣200 worth of stuff nicked from my apartment over summer when on holiday. My friend who i was sharing with had no insurance adn got nothing back. Tis all.
Have emailed Blackpool.
Only downside is that most rooms are double meaning we'd all have to double up with someone ;) there will be some twin rooms though, i hope.
There will be about 12 places too, and as soon as I have confirmation from one of the venues of a price, I will let everyone know and we can book.
It doesn't matter too much if there are more people thanplaces either as all the gay hotels are in one area and we can just find accomodation somewhere close for a couple of us.

The lowest price is ｣15 and the highest ｣18 up to now. (thats per person, per night bed and breakfast)
Some hotels have twin rooms, single rooms, and bunk beds. but most double. Obviously, if you REaLLY don't want to share a bed or room, we can try and sort something out, but it would be much cheaper to share.
The train will cost ｣12.95 with a rail card and ｣19.60 without.
So if we say the room is ｣18, for two nights thats ｣36.
Add that to the train fare of ｣12.95 we get a total of
｣48.95
I don't think thats too expensive really.

Sorry to bring this back on-topic, but just to remind every1 that if yr going to the B/pool Pleasure Beach (People wanna go there, right? Where the rides are?) then last time I was there it was ｣25 for a day wrist-band.
I strongly suggest that if we're going out at night, then it's prob better to go to the pleasure beach before rather than afterwards, cos if your feeling a bit fragile from the night before, it's not such a hot idea to do that riding, is it? x
Well if we take it easy on the Friday with drinks and a nice meal, then hit blackpool on the Saturday (We could go swimming at the Sandcastle!!!!) and then save all our energies for saturday night where we can really go for it!!! :)
I'll be sebding out an email this week with exact details. There will be 12 or so places (obviously we can sort out a few more if necessary, but it really needs to be an even number).
People need to reply to me asap. I'll then be booking the rooms and I will be paying a deposit out of my own account. So I'll need a cheque off everyone who is coming ASAP to cover the cost in my account. When I have all the places filled I'll be taking trainfare off of people and going booking us seats and tickets. so that we can all be sat together on the train.
