My darlings, are there any feel-good songs out there that make you and your friends link your shoulders and sing together? I'd like to make a CD with those, so I need your suggestions.

My own bit would be Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger.

Or possibly The Beatles: Penny Lane. :oP

I agree with Phil that anything from Grease is good to sing in the pub or in Karaoke

People always seem to do "Wind Beneath My Wings" or "Back For Good", but I'm not particularly impressed with either.

How bout The Darkness - I Believe in a Thing Called Love
There's that one that goes "Uh oh Uh oh Uh oh banana" I think it's Beyonce.
Girls Alous - Love Machine or No Good Advice
Salt n Pepa - Push It
Ice Cube - You can do it
Kylie - Can't Get You Out of my Head
etc.

(putting Anorak on)
Wilson Pickett originally did the song 'Mustang Sally', but the version most people know is by The Commitments, from the film of the same name.

I've just remembered other songs to do in the pub:

Erasure - A Little Respect
Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You
Culture Club - Do You Really Want To Hurt Me / Karma Chameleon
Roberta Flack / Fugees - Killing Me Softly
Whitney / Dolly - I will always love you (usually sung by a woman with a terrible voice)
Ricky bloody Martin - Livin' LA Vida Loca
Enrique - Hero / Bailamos
Anything by Robbie Bloody Williams
Cher - It's in his kiss (the shoop shoop song)
Take That & Lulu - Relight my fire (what a classic!)
Diana ross & The Supremes - You can't hurry love
Anything by Abba
A-ha - Take On Me
New York New York (complete with dancing)

...and there's always some drunken woman who gets up and sings 'I will survive', whilst glaring and pointing at the men accusingly.
