i think i might be able to see a p on the left and an m on the right, which are presumably the beginning and end of it. can't see anything in the middle though.
it's equally possible my mind has invented those in a bizarre effort to put meaning into a white screen.

i thought the squiggly bits at the top would be stretched writing, so i tried putting it into paint and squashing it, but it didn't work. if dave's got to 15, he knows how to do this.....

i'm now stuck on 12. for number nine, i saved it, opened it in paint, then carefully fill colour in the black bit and it leaves the letters. 10 is a trick one. just do what it says. 11, you have to do the same as for one of the first ones.

Number 6 - the X in the box. I've tried everything that I can think of; /x, /x.htm, /redx.htm, /ex.htm etc but dont understand as it says it isn't a riddle but all I can see is the damn X. HELP

tee hee. i found that one really easy. i guess it's just thinking of the right thing to do. until it occurs to you what you need to do to the picture, it's impossible.
and then when you get to 7, do virtually the same thing.
was that clue annoyingly vague enough?

nup, still stuck. there's black in the frame, but i'm not sure how that is of any use. and it doesn't look like there's anything hidden in the big black line cos when you put it into paint and fill colour, the whole thing gets filled.
i need you to be more explicit, dave (and i won't say that phrase again)

am i being really stupid? all i can see at the edges is a black or grey line.
is it anything to do with .htm having a sort of shadow round it? when you're zoomed in you can see it's not a definate change from black to green/white.
am i meant to do anything to the picture before i can see it? or should i be able to see it when i'm zoomed in?
