Just a note to say I've booked the Peanut Gallery between 6:30 and 8:30 on tuesday to show XXY - a film I anticipated for ages, and have hugged like a waterbottle.
It's an awesome film, moreso simply because it addresses intersex, and recognises it on screen. The acting is impeccable and the script throws up all the required debates on choice, medical expertise, parenting, and good ol' coming of age (I don't promise it's cringe-free though lol).
It's in Argentine Spanish, but we have Subtitles in English, (Which is more than the Edward Boyle's version of it can offer!)
