Hey all, just posting this to let you all know/remind you that its the Union Council Elections on Monday & Tuesday. Please vote in them, especially for the LGBT Assembly Chair...
I know ur all probably sick of flyers, election campaigns & those bluddy voting forms but, heres a few reasons y u shud vote (i aint gonna do the whole ME ME ME thing cos well its all bout u)...
1) Havin an LGBT rep on the Union council means that LGBT students get a voice and a say in the running of the union
2) We can stop homophobic/ bi-phobic/ transphobic union policies from been passed
3) Have more awareness of LGBT issues within the union and do something about these issues
4) Would put us in a better position to challenge homophobia/ biphobia/ transphobia etc within the union
5) The union would also allow more funding for the LGBT to run campaigns and socials
Hopefully this will have give u enough reasons to vote for the LGBT assembly Chair position etc & in the case of 2people who will remain un-named, opened ur eyes to the fact that it does affect you

We can just use people off the stall. When we've got 5 or 6 people on at once, we can spare a couple of people to go and stand outside and annoy people on Nic's behalf.
