Is it just me, or does Jonathon Ross appear to be an omen for disaster? I was sitting at home on Friday night, watching Jonathon talk to some celebrities I've never heard of, (great fun) when I had a massive panic attack, and hence did dreadfully in today's exam.
Why did I have a massive panic attack?
Because a CAR SMASHED INTO MY F*CKING HOUSE!! I heard an almighty explosion, and tripped over myself blacking out for a couple of minutes. I lay down, thinking I must have imagined it. I looked out of the window, and I see a car, (fiesta I think) with it's front embedded into the corner of my house. I go outside, and the police tell me that there were five people there originally, but they all ran off, (God knows how). The car was stolen, and there was a load of guanja in the boot of the car, (sadly I found none remaining).
The impact knocked about 6 stone bollards off their foundations, one of which was hurled about twenty metres. The car, (we assume) zigzagged a little and crashed into one of those massive wooden telegraph pole thangs and knocked it and several small trees over. I think that's why no-one was severly injured.
So, the car's gone now, but there's loads of glass and car things still on the ground outside. I'm looking forward to telling my department this one - sorry I failed your exam but a fiesta crashed into my house.
So, how's everyone else? Good luck in the exams for those, (like me) who still have them, (hopefully) congratulations to those who've sat them and graduated.
Steven. xxx (by the way, this DID happen - you couldn't make this sh1t up).

Oh, something like this happened in my first year: a joyrider upturned a big posh BMW outside my house in Tetley. BANG! I saw this guy out of the kitchen window crawl out and run away... and then there was the rigmarole with the police and all that... fun, innit?
Bet your exam didn't go as badly as you might expect...
And hey, as far as mitigating circumstances go, I bet the examination board are tired of hearing the same old, "I overslept," or, "my cat died," excuses. At least this is one that'll amuse them.
Aww, thanks folks for those words! If my special cases committee think like you all do I'm sure I'll be fine.
By the way, congratulations for graduating Alberto, sorry I forgot to post on the other topic, so I.m saying it here! Congrats to anyone else who's graduated as well!
Steven. xxx (By the way Nic I did try & scour the area for any left over guanja with you in mind, but I couldn't see any. Sorry!)

Actually, I've just been thinking. The car they stole was a clapped out old fiesta. Now, if you're gonna go out and steal a car, bearing in mind you risk injury and imprisonment, and see that car... How pissed would you have to be...
