The GOB! (me) will be around wearing my super duper special purple neck tag thing, so if u all have any questions relating to the LGBT society/assembly, assemblies in general and/or the union don't be afraid of coming to speak to me, similarly don't be afraid of speaking to me at events! :o)

I'm in L block btw right next to the bar (like under the dish thingy) Wendy/Jeni if ya wanna meet another random person!

x
I'm not going to be there myself, but you'll definitely be looked after.
People are meeting at 3.30pm on the Parkinson Steps, and I'm sure most other freshers will be on their own, too. And for those who aren't freshers, we definitely remember how we felt the first time we came to events. Please don't be put off coming. I promise you, we're lovely and don't bite unless asked.
Paul - if I do go to the bar I will definately try and find you. However I feel quite rough at the mo (after last night!), and all I really want to do is live in a duvet filled land for a bit!!

hey fresher here, name is alex, my confirmation e mail seems to be takin forever so im just posting for now. if you been to any of the events you will more than likely have seen me. i have red hair, id say it was fairly bright, but its fading and needs dying, stupid fading reds. anyway. hey all. oh and i live at clarance dock as well. seems to be quite a few of us here
Wendy wrote: Hiya! Is this the guy from the anime soc too?
yeh thats me, confirmation came through so i have a name now, woo! im guessing you are the one i was talking to at the bus stop, unless theres someone else whos in both anime soc and lgbt i dont kno of, but i havent been to any anime soc meets yet, so there may well me. anyway, an official hi all from the registered fresher.
I am debating going, although my goal this year is to get more active and learn new things. I'm not sure if sitting in a room watching anime for three hours will accomplish that.
its kinda annoying when people refer to anime as cartoons, it makes it sound so childish, which for some animes really isnt at all. anyway, no harm in wasting a little time doing nothing constructive, you can catch up with more important things at a slightly later date.
Sorry to break it to you, but 'richardyoung71' is actually born in 1971, and is a 34 year-old lecturer trying to pick up younger men. His photos are carefully edited using photoshop to make him look younger and hunkier.
No, really. It's true.
(Nah, I'm sure you'll find out whether Richard is hot or not if you go to the men's meal. Look out for the zimmer frame.)
hey how do i sign up to be a member? and if i sign up to i get anything for that? sorry but i am a third year and realise i should probably start joining things for the old cv!

Pop into coffee hour to join! It costs £4, you get a shiny gold cold which also gets you into Mission for free on Thursdays and Saturdays, and it'll look great on your cv!
