Sorry to put a downer on what has been a great first week of events but I really do have to mention this.

I've had reports of biphobia on recent events from members of this society.

I'll make it quite clear now that the society (and the union for that matter) will not stand for discrimination of anyone for any reason, including their self-defined sexuality.

I and the committee won't hesitate to remove peoples membership rights if it continues, and if it happens inside the union building, they will be officially complained about to the union which could lead to that persons union membership being revoked.

I really don't want to have to do this again guys so please be nice to each other. And if you do have vile and hateful opinions, keep them to yourself. Or better still, grow up.
