Tea & Cakes Otley Run!!

I know this is probably very short notice for some of you, forum geeks, but today we're fighting the drizzle and the cold by holding the long-awaited TEA & CAKES OTLEY RUN!!!

Meeting up at Parkinson Steps at 2pm. So come on... take your pyjamas off and get in the shower.

The route will be the following:

- Opposite
- Cafe Chi
- La Cafetiere (possibly L'Oranaise too if La Caf is too packed)
- Moorish
- Clock Cafe

I know we're going in the opposite direction, but that might also give us a chance to join Xray Dave's "real" Otley Run when we've stuffed ourselves with enough tea and yummy cakes.

Our alternative Otley Run was a success in the end. We were a nice bunch of tea drinkers, cake eaters and sisha smokers. Was I the only one who ended up a bit overcafeinated though?

Thanks to Evie for being a wonderful co-hostess (darling!), to Nic for all her help and support and for teaching people to smoke shisha pipes () and, of course, thanks to all who came. Hope you had a good time. I know I did!

I can't believe I missed it! It was the one event in the whole year that I had big red rings around on my calendar, and I missed it *sob*

and what was I doing instead? I was shoe shopping. How painfully un-lesbian of me.

Somebody poke me a good few weeks in advance of the next one...

As much as it pains me 2 admit it, i enjoyed very alcohol free tea n cake run, the sheesa in L'oraniase wer lovely!

I was at home recovering from 10 double g&t's on Friday night in Manchester.

wheeeeeeee, it was fun!

we definitely need another one in the not too distant future. perhaps as a welcome back event in january, to relieve us of the stress of exams?

thanks to all that came with us, sorry i disappeared near the end, and to all the ones who missed it - come next time!
