I'm a shy second year that wants to join LGBT, but doesn't necessarily want to come to all the meetings. I have tried to come and join at coffee hour.... twice there was no-one there. Once there was the Christian Union using the room instead. And another time I bottled out as there were so many people there.
when are you free? a committee member will be happy to meet up with you either very quickly or over a coffee some time this week if you'd like. would you prefer to meet up with a male or female committee person? add me to msn if you want a chat!
if you're a woman, then i'd also suggest coming along to the womens' meal on wednesday night - a chance to get to know other nice lgbters without alcohol/smoke/loud music. 7pm parky steps, going to pizzamania :)
well ive made plans with people to go out thursday, so may see me round. ill be a short chinese guy (cos that stands out amoung chinese) but ive got red hair which should stand out a bit more, unless its quite dark so you might not be able to see. anyway if you spot me say hi.
if a room full of people is too much for you then tuesdays maight not be a good day for coffee hour, its usually packed tuesday.
