In York on Sunday night in Toffs there is a gay night, its a good laugh, I just thought I would mention it. I will be going if anyone wants to tag along

The York Minster tour is not very expensive, but it does take a lot of time, so we can appreciate as much of it as the free area can afford, and then we can go back out and proceed.
We can stop there and let people wander around for a bit (lots of lovely shops, and after all, some of us are gay), agreeing on a meeting time and place (probably the place where we're standing before disseminating). I know some people might get a bit disorientated, so maybe groups should be organised in which there's someone who knows the city (this is why I'd be grateful if there were another committee member there). Then we can proceed towards the Shambles for some lunch. There probably won't be many of us, so we would be able to fit in a tea house. If not, we can always divide into groups and go to two or more of them.
After that... woo hoo! Walk to the Tower at the bottom of the city, and maybe some frolicking in the surrounding green areas. If the weather is horrible (as it well could be, York being in well-named Yorkshire) we can forget about frolicking and walk towards the high part of town again and maybe recreate in a pub... there are quite a few nice ones near the Minster. After that, we can take another scenic route and walk on the town walls. It's nice, plus it would be the only thing that would make people walk on a straight line after being at the pub.
Once we're back on the ground, it's time to say good-bye to the wonderful city of York and make it back to the station... the train station, cause we're taking the train. None of that bus crappy stuff.

Curious is nothing like Climax... I'll b bluntley honest here, Curious is pathetic compared 2 Climax (no offence 2 ppl organising Curious. Thing with Climax n Sheffield Uni is that their union run it 4 them & put loadsa money in2 it as well as opening it 2 the public).
I grew up going 2 Climax! nothing will ever compare 2 it in my eyes, its the ultimate University gay nite... and its the monthly highlight of South Yorkshire/North East Derbyshires gay scene calender.
Rich, I still haven't heard anything from the debating soc about this god-damn debate, have you? If u've got any info about it let me know... cos as far as I know its not happening cos debating soc aren't gettin much done due to committee problems.

As soon as the debating society heard i might be able to get Derek form Big Brother to come and talk, they got interested. I had emails and phone calls and everytign off them! But now it looks less likely, i don't know what's gonna happen.
