Bad, because: ****ey music everywhere, lots of sickly Christmas food, Leeds city centre even more crowded than usual, no gifts because my family don't celebrate.
Good, because: an excuse to drink lots of booze, mince pies which I'm partial to, cheap stuff in the sales, erm... I think that's about it.
New Year's bites, though. It just reminds you of what you haven't accomplished in the previous year, and I usually get so drunk I miss it.
i hate christmas. it´s poo. it´s also the most dangerous time fo year because your average person is most likely to be killed by a family member on christmas day.
than and i hate tinsel.
bah humbug!

i have mixed feelings about christmas... the pies are sweet, the music is awful, rubbish greatest hits albums appear everywhere and we're constantly reminded of the necessity to give every motherf*cker an ill-deserved christmas card.... On the other hand there is mulled wine, A "Chilling Out" of the populace and not to mention Only Fools and Horses and French and Saunders sometimes do something funny. And then there's the relatives....
Christmas is great - what other time of the year can you indulge in pressies and feel that you are the most important person in the world, without feeling self-involved. Get up early, smell great food cooking and laze aorunf all day watching musicals!!!! The Hiiiiiiiillllllllllls are a alive lol!!!
Plus all the time with family (or maybe that's just me). Christmas ROCKS!!
...the arguments. every christmas. ...the drunken bitching. ...the rush to book every sodding insurance premium in sight so that the whole of the western hemisphere is not left without coverage over the next year, so the world doesn´t end. ...cleaning. enough said. ...presents. nobody ever really likes what you got them, and if they do, they´re lying to you. ...people. lots of people. which is bad. of course. ...insurance...did i mention this one already?
the insurance whoré. xxx

I love the smell of tinsel and pine trees and the mince pies!! and my mum's christmas cakes, mmmm. but then you have to exercise to lose all the weight you put on from all the yummy food.
Christmas with step families require lots of diplomacy tho, and lots of organising. Making sure you spend the right amount of time with each parent and new family and not offending anyone. V. stressful.
then theres the present buying, that always stresses me out, who to buy for, who not to, remembering who to send cards to. ooh my frazzled nerves!
so its a bit of both for me, but you can't vote for both tho, that would be pointless
have you ever decorated a christmas tree? tinsel does smell, I'm not that odd, maybe I just have a very good sense of smell, I notice these things more than most people
