Hello, my name is Kate.

I would like to run for the election of trans officer because

I would like to ensure that the trans part of the LGBT society and its members
feel represented and that people are more educated on trans issues.

I would like to break down some of the predjudices and sterotypes that trans
people and people that people assume are trans face.

I would also like to address some of the issues and ideas surrounding gender. As
gender is something that affects everyone yet is something that i feel is
rarely addressed.

I i were elected as trans officer I would attempt to achieve the 3 points above,
in addition to making all member of the society feel welcome.
