Stick your requests in here, otherwise I can't guarantee I'll have the song on the night. - I need to lug all my stuff from Manchester, y'know.
[edit] Oh, and JohnK and I are planning our sets together in one big "Music Pool", so anything you reckon would be better for him to play can go in here as well if you like.
I'm playing commerical indie, motown, soul, rnb and pop. A whole mixed bag of nice loveliness, though i'll be playing some less recognisable stuff towards the begininning of the evening. So come early for happy tunes.

Now i've got that out of my system, maybe a few not so frequently heard??
Rage Against the Machine- Killing in the name of Nirvana- Lithium Muse- Plug in Baby
I reckon you'd really enjoy Poptastic in Manchester, the Indie room there most often plays all of those!
Pete i'll email you a list of songs that you HAVE to play!!
OK cheers Richard!
Just a polite note as well though, guys (everyone), as much as John & I will take requests into account all we can, remember what the word "request" means - to ask (politely), and I'm sure you wouldn't want us to be ordered about too much without being able to put our own thought into the DJing anyway - we need to try & make it all work, cover a few bases, make everyone happy etc etc blah blah.
What I'm saying is, please don't cry if your song doesn't get played! x
O.B.V they will be rubbish as we are gonna blow your minds y'all!
oooh, very exciting! Grr!
I have lots of cool ideas:
Eve and Gwen Salt n Peppa Feat. En Vogue James Brown Diana Ross Stevie Wonder The Killers Jet M.I.A Shampoo Martha and the Muffins Avril Lavigne Princess SUperstar Kelis (like Old Skool Kelis though) The Rolling Stones All Saints Mary J Blige Scissor Sisters Kelly Clarkson Britney Blondie David Bowie Patti Smith Goldfrapp Jamelia Blur The Strokes Tori Amos PJ Harvey The Rolling Stones Ace of Base Corona Madge Bjork Belle & Sebastian The Arcade Fire We Are Scientists The Sugababes Kylie Elton John Feat. KD Lang (for Emily!) Le Tirge Alanis Morrisette Mariah Missy Elliot Spice Girls Yeah Yeah Yeahs Ash The Zutons The White Stripes Red Hot Chilli Peppers Girls Aloud
Basically, I'm bringing piles of CDs and me and Pete are gonna just go for it!!
Though I have a really cool set of songs to play somewhere in the middle.
And I guess I'll be on the decks nearer the start as I'll be playing the more alternative stuff, though there will be some slipped in later on.

Oh let's face it Richard they actually made the song much better - at least you can imagine that Sugababes would actually look good on the dancefloor! And that vocoder rules.
