I thought there was a thread for Eurovision, but pitifully enough there doesn't seem to be one.

Well now there is one.

Look at this kerrazy Icelandic lass:
http://www.silvianight.com/main.html

I really recommend you watch the video, it's absolutely merveilleuse.

Everyone loves Eurovision - it's official. It's the worst thing since baked shít. So come on, if you're bored of revising and you've not got a party to go to (or indeed you feel to guilty about work to go to a party), then post your Eurocommentary in here. You know you want to.

Ha ha ha! Am actually rolling around in cluster. Ms Night is surely parodying parody itself??

I love women who decide to dress in drag anyway.

Quote from her news reel:

According to an official memorandum from the EBU the line: "The vote is in, I'll f***ing win" is considered so highly offensive that if it were sung on stage it would bring the contest as such into disrepute.

Cheers, Falaf. I am officially cheered.

What!? That angellic creature?

Oh well, there's always the 17-year-old Sidsel Ben Semmane from Denmark.

She reports on her current success:

“ My shoes are pretty easy to walk on, so I didn’t experience any problems.”

Deep.

Yay Eurovision tonight!! I was staggered that Silvia Night didn't get through, she was pure genius! I really liked the Estonian entry too so it's a shame she didn't get through to the final. Has everyone seen OUR entry though?? Is that embarrassing or what?

Methinks I'll be playing the drinking game where you take on a country and then whenever they get points, drink the corresponding amount of drinks. Works out very well if you're Ireland or if Greece and Cyprus are competing.

Much better than last years and the best country won in my opinion... it was the fold out wings n microphone axe that did it for me

i hate eurovision and haven't watched it since 2002 or something. the only reason i watched it then was to introduce my canadian friend to the joys of the "comedy" of terry wogan. he wasn't impressed.

VOTE, VOTE, VOTE FOR THE WINNERS!

living in russia, as i do, i find it funny that headlines news in zhizn, and other newspapers, is that europe is plotting against russia, as dima bilan ONLY came second. shucks!

alas, well done to the hard rock hallelujah gang, it indeed was the day of rockening, and the rockalypse shall soon come.

dima is also a molodets (he'd be soooo fit without the mullet) and rabid and i are off to see him life next week, to try and learn his 'dima-dance'!

take care x
