Suprising coz they're both big time travelled people

Though maybe its coz im pretty straight actin!

Or maybe they do but they're not letting on

Probably because i hardly see em

Maybe i act more straight around them...

My mum used to say she knew everything when I was little cos it was a mum thing.

I've learnt otherwise as I've grown up and now I know more than her

my mum had a dream before I was born apparently, so thatīs why she didnīt shy away from letting me play with my sisterīs barbie dolls and making perfume with the girls out of water, grass, cherry blossoms and stuff, lol.

that and she found my copy of attitude in my wardrobe whilst i was on holiday (i was 14).

mums know, almost certainly...i think itīs how willing they are to go on their motherly instincts though.

I'm always a little pïssed by guys who say "Yeah, I was just so straight acting and well-adjusted, my parents had no idea". Well, I was one of the ones who jazz-slid into the room and screamed Darlings! just to see what would happen. No amount of kickboxing trophies can reverse the suspicions once that happens. Sigh.

None of my family (extended and nuclear) new, until I actually told them once over christmas party (big mastake). But I though they would have known. It really aint that hard to guess. But then I was striaght for a while (Girlfriend and all). But maybe that was more to do with growign up in a Roman Catholic homophobic Irish society.

Then again, all my firends knew.

My mum really had no idea, which is pretty surprising when you think that I used to try on her shoes and was a founding member of my street's "Spice Girls Fan Club" (oh the shame...) When I told her she looked a bit stunned then she left the room and sent my stepdad in to talk to me instead and she's never mentioned it since, if I make like a passing joke or comment about it she goes all quiet and distant, but she'll probably come round in the end... My stepdad's cool with it though, I think he's pretty much seen it all and he said I could talk to him about anything I like. So at least one of them's got their head screwed on right!
